The purpose of establish a college for the members of Board of Directors was to provide facilities for the higher education for the villagers nearby Bihiya. Although the students of Bihiya were registered with V.K.S.U. under different courses through the colleges of Ara town and for attending classes they needed to spent time and money every day. So we the member of Board of Directors committed an attempt to establish a college in Bihiya. We deserve to be affiliated with V.K.S.U., Ara and we got the affiliation letter after reviewing the campus and facilities provided by us here. We will update our status date by date and time by time for any event occuring here with the university that we have affiliated with.

During the British Empire in India there was a king living in Bihiya. As a rule made by him in his empire he used to spend one night with the newly married bride. Every new bride who used to travel to his husband's home after marriage had to spend one night with the king. Mahthin Devi born in a Brahmin family after marriage was going to her husband's home through that passage. The soldiers of the king stopped her and told to come to the palace. She forbidden to do so. The king came and ordered Mahthin Devi to come with him for one night stay. She also forbidden the king to do so. And to protect her character, she killed herself on the spot. She died like a married bride and hence the people nearby and in surroundings of Bihiya worship her as Sati Devi.

Some are unnamed yet and some had been identified using the relevance of the work and their visit to this place. This is also such story in which the contributor has been identified by the visit and construction or repair time relevance.
Wife of Piro region MLA (Hulas Pandey) when came here to worship Mahthin Devi, saw the repair work at the temple. Marble work was being carried out here. She asked the worker about the work and the demand of the materials. The labour asked her that marble is being supplied there day by day through the unknown contributors and hence they can not tell about the actual remaining requirement. But the contractor there informed her about the shop from where the marble was purchased. When the current work finished another lot of marble was required to continue the work. The contractor went to the same shop to purchase another lot of marble. When the contractor went at the counter of the shop to make the payment, he found there was an advance of Rs. 50000 deposited at the shop. He asked to shopkeeper about the person name who had made the advance for the marble. But shopkeeper refused to tell her indentity. But the contractor reminded himself about the event in last month and found that it was wife of Hulash Pandey who can make such payment for the marble.
Another interesting story related to this holy place is more interesting. A scheduled cast boy was determined that he will not marry before he did not get a job. At the age of 35 he got a Government job. It is heard that he got a handsome government job then. Now after getting job, he decided to marry but another determination came then into existance and he promised to himself that he will marry without any dowry. Luckily he found a girl to marry whose father was a rich person. The father of the girl decided to serve food for all persons' relative who will marry at the same day of his daughter marriage. He announced the date at Mahthin Maa Temple and nearby place and invited all to marry there at the same date. It is heard that the father spent Rs. 72000 then for food.
